About Me

Lindsay LeaI’m a stay at home wifey and mother who loves to read, write, and cook. I feel like my whole life has been a health battle that I didn’t know I was fighting until a couple of years ago. That’s when I implemented diet and lifestyle changes that have more or less put my autoimmune disease into remission. The more I learn about the effects of diet and lifestyle on our overall health, the more inspired I am to make healthy choices every day. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to learn these things, which is why I choose to share about them on the blog.

I started my first blog during the year I spent living in Northern Ireland after college. I loved having a way to update my family and friends about the spiritual growth I was experiencing, and it provided an outlet for my lifelong love of journaling. After returning to the states I moved to Northern Idaho and was encouraged to start another blog, which has slowly morphed into what you see today. I believe that the mind, body, soul, and community are all inter-related and reliant on each other for optimal health.

With that in mind, you will find:

  • Recipes and tips to keep your body in good health
  • Book reviews and information to keep your mind active
  • Reflections from my personal faith journey to challenge your spirit
  • Encouraging words to inspire good relationships and build a thriving community

 One last thing

Lindsay + Laszlo = LindszloThis is my husband. We were both convinced we would never find anyone in Idaho. Then our friends set us up, we had a whirlwind romance, and have now been married for two and a half years! I think he is the greatest and I love that he and I get to experience this thing called parenthood together.

What do you think?
